Inter club league 2008
Jersey Petanque Club retain trophy.
The first fixture of the 2008 Inter Club league was won by Jersey Petanque Club who beat St Mary's Petanque Club by 9 games to 2.The reverse match between these two clubs took place on 26 August, with JPC at home. The result was the same as the first leg held at St Mary’s, with JPC winning by 9 games to 2 and retaining the Inter Club League trophy.
Unfortunately the Carrefour Petanque Club declined to enter a team for this year’s league and therefore their fixtures against each of the other clubs did not take place. St Mary took runner up position.
